Third SmartCity Festival Finished
On the 15th of October 2019 a Smart City Festival 2019 was held in Belgrade, gathering stakeholders from civil society, academia and local authorities from all over the world and opening discussion on how smart cities influence living of people in urban and rural areas, under this year slogan “Smart Cities – Smart Living”. Besides an experts who shared their experience at the main stage of the festival, this event also hosted:
  • Smart City Expo for companies providing services in the area of smart cities,
  • STEM early workshop where children age 10 to 15 learned about robotics, programming, entrepreneurship and all the innovative ways of learning and education, as well as
  • Various workshops, meet ups and trainings which aimed to empower stakeholders with new ideas, knowledge and partnerships.
Smart City Festival 2019 was organized by Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in partnership with Connect International and more than 80 other partner organizations involved into the field of smart cities, open data, innovation, new technologies and data rights, policies, privacy and protection.
