Two webinars for high school teachers “How to improve online education in Serbia” were implemented by NGO Libero on December 22 and 23, 2020. The aim of the webinars was to raise the capacity of teachers to conduct interactive and innovative online education through the use of latest digital tools and methodologies for working with students in a virtual environment. The participants of the webinar had the opportunity to get acquainted with the platforms for learning and interaction with students, as well as to share their experiences with colleagues about the challenges brought by the sudden transfer of traditional education to the digital world.
One of the speakers at the webinars was the president of CONNECT International, Jelena Spasović. She shared the examples of experiences that members of CONNECT’s network from all around Europe had with the digitalization of education in their countries. She also presented UpDatAed toolkit, created by CONNECT International in order to help youth workers protect data of young people with whom they work. Through the presentation of this toolkit the webinar participants got introduced to the best practices of data collection and use that will make their work safer.
