Do (Not) Digitalize me training held in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia
Training seminar within the project “Do (Not) Digitalize Me” took place in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, from December 12 to 18, 2021. This training was attended by youth workers from all around Europe who have experience in the processes of policy preparation and youth work digitalization. During the seven day event they were engaged in a series of workshops, debates and discussions regarding the negative and positive consequences of the rapid digitalization of youth work which happened in the past 2 years.
As a result of discussions on digitalization a set of policy recommendations were drafted within this training. The aim of these documents is to form a framework for ensuring that the negative aspects of youth work digitalization, such as privacy breaches or decrease in real life participation of young people are minimized . The participants who took part in the training seminar in Vrnjačka Banja will form a core group running the European wide campaign aimed at awareness raising on the responsible digitalization of youth work which will start in the late December 2021.
The project “Do (Not) Digitalize Me” is supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
