The CONFIDENT Training Methodology is designed to support trainers and youth workers in helping young people to overcome psychological and mental issues caused by social media.
This document is organized into five cohesive modules that are interconnected and work together as a whole. We strive to provide a theoretical background to explain the issues and offer engaging activities that encourage young people to analyze their own relationship with social media and its exact effects on their lives. Furthermore, we provide proven and effective self-help strategies and tools that they can use individually not only during the workshops but also in their daily lives. Finally, through interactive workshops, we aim to equip them with skills that social media may have deprived them of, enabling them to rely confidently on themselves and the skills acquired through training, rather than solely relying on smartphone applications.
