“Climate Changes Everything,” a youth exchange organized by Sunrise Project France, was a resounding success, bringing together young people from six countries across Europe (France, Cyprus, Serbia, Turkiye, Romania and Italy) to address the pressing issue of climate change. Supported by the Erasmus+ program, the project aimed to empower participants with practical skills and knowledge to contribute to a more sustainable future.
Over the course of the exchange, over 40 participants engaged in a variety of non-formal educational activities, including interactive workshops, group discussions, and hands-on experiences. These activities were designed to foster a deeper understanding of the causes and impacts of climate change, as well as the role that technology can play in mitigating its effects.
One of the key achievements of the project was the development of participants’ leadership and advocacy skills. Through various exercises and discussions, young people were equipped with the tools they need to become active citizens and advocates for climate action in their local communities.
Furthermore, the project explored the European Green Deal and its implications for young people and the future of our planet. Participants gained valuable insights into the ways in which they can contribute to the achievement of the Green Deal’s objectives and the broader fight against climate change.
“Climate Changes Everything” was a successful and impactful project that not only educated and empowered young people but also fostered a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility for the future of our planet. The support of the Erasmus+ program was instrumental in making this project a reality, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring together young people from across Europe to learn, grow, and take action together.
