We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest endeavour, the EU4YOUTH2ACT project, funded by EU through the Erasmus+ programme. This groundbreaking initiative, titled “Empowering Connecting and Engaging Youth Across Europe to Become Actors Of Social Change And Digital Innovation For Sustainable Development In The Post Covid era,” officially commenced with a successful kick-off meeting held on November 16, 2023.
In the face of the upcoming EU Parliamentary Elections in 2024, civic engagement becomes extremely important. The EU4YOUTH2ACT project, which runs from November 2023 to October 2025, aims to empower and engage young people, especially those facing social and economic barriers. Through the establishment of Social Innovation Laboratories (HUBS), we seek to foster civic engagement and activation of young individuals into becoming agents of social change and social innovation.
Our consortium, led by Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile comprising experienced organizations from Italy, Poland, Spain, Cyprus, Germany and Belgium, will collaborate to develop valuable resources like a mobile app, an e-learning platform, and a comprehensive Toolkit for establishing Social Innovation Laboratories.
As we embark on this exciting journey, our focus remains steadfast on enhancing youth participation in civic and democratic processes, fostering personal, social, and civic competences, and promoting the core values of the EU.
Stay tuned for more updates as we progress in this transformative journey!
