Connect International representative attended an international dialogue on Sustainable Education in Europe, that took place on Friday, 12th of April in Brussels, Belgium.
The event was organised by JA Europe and EY, hosted by Salvatore Nigro, CEO of JA Europe and Julie Linn Teigland, EY EMEIA Area Managing Partner. The dialogue involved the participation of Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius as well as number of young people, alumni of JA Europe and public-private sector leaders. CI is glad to participate in the debates about sustainable education as digital education plays one of the key roles on this path. With other stakeholders we were able to contribute to the conversation how (non)-formal education and digital education is important in building a sustainable framework for the future.
This intergenerational dialogue aimed to inspire action and policies ahead of the
European Parliament elections as well as presentation of the findings of the EY and JA
Worldwide Generational Sustainability Survey, which engaged 1,200+ global respondents. Connect will continue supporting this policy efforts in the future as well.
