“Bridge to the Future” Youth Public Union is implementing the project “Support for expanding international collaboration opportunities of higher education institutions in Azerbaijan’s regions” which aims to increase the skills and knowledge of higher education institutions located in the regions in order to take advantage of international opportunities, including the formation of relevant skills.

During the first stage of the project, the trainer Gulshan Bayramova provided the participants with extensive information on the topics of internationalization in higher education, Erasmus+ projects and the writing of those projects, project design, selection of partners and preparation of the project budget, and group work was organized with the participants on the preparation of projects for international grants.

A total of 20 representatives from Ganja State University, Azerbaijan University of Technology, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Nakhchivan State University, Sumgait State University and Lankaran State University participated in the training course. 

As a step after the training, the project experts will conduct an online mentoring program for university employees for a period of 1 month. Based on the mentoring program, the employees will work on formulating real project proposals.

The project is one of the winning projects at the grant competition of “Organization of voluntary activity in education” announced by the Ministry of Science and Education Republic of Azerbaijan.
