Representatives of Connect participated at the EU4YOUTH2ACT Transnational Training for Youth Workers

Our representatives took part in the 3-day intensive Transnational Training for Youth Workers as part of the EU4YOUTH2ACT project.

The training aimed to empower and engage youth workers across Europe, equipping them with competencies critical to fostering youth-led social change and sustainable development in today’s context.

The event featured the presentation of 6 modules, including civic, active citizenship, cultural, social, personal, and interpersonal competencies. In this regard, as a key partner in the initiative, Connect not only participated but also contributed actively to the facilitation of the training—leading Module 6 on Interpersonal Competencies. This session invited reflection on the skills, qualities, and behavior needed to foster effective communication, conflict resolution, and team collaboration, emphasizing their relevance in youth work practices and on the role “empathy” plays in our context.

The training provided an essential space for youth workers, trainers, and civil society actors to exchange practices, explore innovative methodologies and activities, and deepen their understanding of civic, social, and personal development paradigms. Additionally, interactive activities made the event very engaging.

Ultimately, by working collaboratively through the modules featuring the project’s digital platform, the event embodied the spirit of cross-border cooperation that defines Connect’s mission.
