This year CONNECT International had an honor of taking part in the organization of The Smart City Festival in Belgrade by coordinating programmes and activities related to the promotion of the human rights in the digital era. We also hosted a panel entitled “Rights in Digital Era”. Our panelists discussed the ways human rights can be protected and promoted in the digital world.

The Smart City Festival is an annual event organized by Friedrich Naumann Foundation  with a support from more than 50 stakeholders from the fields of urban development, technology, politics, academia and business from the region and world. The main goal of this festival is to offer solutions to some of the problems of contemporary urban living. This year`s festival featured a wide variety of world class speeches, panels, discussions, lectures and presentations of some of the most innovative products and services, all aiming to incite development of smarter cities.
