From the 27th of May till the 1st of June, as part of the “UpDatAed – Towards digitally safe youth organizations” project, a seminar for standardisation has taken place in Thessaloniki, Greece. Within it stakeholders from all around Europe had an opportunity to gather and talk about human rights, safety and privacy in their youth work.

Objectives of this seminar were to to create learning path for organizations willing to apply data protection standards in their work; to learn about the models of data protection in youth organizations and to create draft of guide for youth organizations and prepare for its piloting. Participants also learned about the importance of human rights of internet users and how to protect them.  Thanks to the interactive methods of non-formal education stakeholders managed to exchange good practices between eachother and to talk about ensuring personal data rights protection while doing youth work activities.
