CONNECT like all other organizations that involve volunteers in leadership positions, is an organization that after each term changes all the people running it or a few of them. For this reason, MOs expressed the need to have a strategic approach in ensuring that knowledge gathered through people gets somehow tracked by organizations for future generations. For this reason, one of the goals in 2022 was to develop a knowledge management approach for the network and this was achieved. This strategy created (link to strategy) procedure for:

- Statutory (organization’s acts, procedures, decisions, strategic documents, guidelines)
- Projects’ implementation (projects documents, results, lessons learned, practice used, technology used)
- Persons (partners, experts / POE, beneficiaries)
- Associate legal entities (partners, contractors, beneficiaries)
- Vendors (basic data, experience, prices)
- Tools and templates in knowledge management

- Knowledge acquisition (When, who and how)
- Knowledge management and storage (where, how who)
- Knowledge distribution (how and when)
- Knowledge use (what, how and when)
