Connect International is a partner in the project EU4YOUTH2ACT, which is a dynamic and transformative initiative, designed to resonate with young people across Europe, particularly those facing social and economic challenges. At its heart, this project aims to engage, connect, and empower these young individuals, turning them into active agents of social change and sustainable development.
We took part in moderating two podcasts, we are pleased to share with you that the first podcast which has been moderated by a board member of CI is out and ready to listen on Spotify and YouTube!
In the podcast we dived deep into the debate under the theme “How young people can be empowered to be EU active citizens for the 2024 EU Parliamentary Elections” with three young persons – Angel, Alessia and Anna – and two representatives of institutions, Marko Paunovic from “Union of the Baltic Cities Antenna ” and Marija Bumbak from “Out of the Box International“. We talked about the EU, the challenges young people face, and the need to build more empathy with each other, and prioritise the mental health of youth. At the end of the discussion, the participants shared about their voting decision in the upcoming European Parliament elections in 2024.
The project EU4YOUTH2ACT is co-funded by the European Union.
