A three day Hiking 4 Understanding Camp was held on the mountain Zlatibor, Serbia, gathering participants, belonging to wide range of age groups, that came together to participate in intergenerational dialogue through sports and physical activities!
The aim of this piloting event was to test methodologies developed during the earlier phases of the project in the real-world environment as well as to enable exchange of ideas, knowledge and skills between younger and older individuals. During the hike participants learned about the importance of environmental protection and inclusion through creative and interactive intergenerational learning activities, as well as how to make hiking a fun and educational experience. At the end of the event, feedbacking and evaluation activities were organized in order to gather inputs for H4U methodologies, which will be used for finalization of these methodologies.
