Learning to Learn Training took place in Ljubljana on January 29th and 30th. Despite the cold weather, youth workers coming from all corners of Europe came to enhance their aptitudes in self-directed learning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The event marked the successful participation of incredibly talented young people who showed incredible ambition towards the project goal.
Participants engaged in hands-on workshops, where they explored learning methodologies, techniques for fostering motivation and autonomy among young people, and strategies to integrate digital tools into youth work. The sessions also addressed mental health and resilience-building, offering approaches to help young people navigate challenges in their personal and educational journeys.
This event represents a small step towards a new generation of youth workers who are equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical experience to tackle any incoming challenge on their way. Besides their educational and professional growth, our youth workers also learned more about themselves and how they are important in their community’s future changes. One participant exclaimed: „This workshop taught me where I need to improve, but also when I should take charge.“ The event’s outcomes will contribute to the project’s broader goal of creating sustainable, inclusive, and effective learning environments.
The project „ConnectEd“ is co-funded by the European Union.
