In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, digital youth work has emerged as a critical component of modern youth services. As the field continues to expand, understanding the current abilities and limitations faced by practitioners is essential to enhance the effectiveness and reach of digital youth work.
That is why within the project “ReInNovating Digital Youth Work” two researches were conducted. The primary research gathered comprehensive data on several key areas: the existing capabilities and constraints of youth workers in the online environment, the obstacles they encounter, and their familiarity with current youth work policies and guidelines. The secondary, desk research provided a comprehensive understanding of the policy and standard landscape in the field of digital youth work.
The research aimed to provide actionable recommendations that will guide the project’s next steps and contribute meaningfully to the field of online youth work.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
