Representative of Connect Participated at Youth Work Talks webinar

In April, a representative from Connect took part in the Youth Work Talks webinar “Xcelerating the recognition of youth work.”

Being a place to establish the space for professional debate and reflection about the hotspots of youth work and its development, the event provided a pivotal opportunity for more than 100 participants, including youth workers, trainers, researchers, youth policy makers, youth representatives, and young people to provide inputs that will be later discussed in the Fourth European Youth Work Convention in Malta (27 – 30 May 2025)

In specific, participants shared best practices from their experiences and various backgrounds while offering insightful ideas to foster cross-sectoral partnerships and amplify this field’s recognition at the policy-making and broader public level. Communication strategies too were discussed highlighting which issues the youth sphere should address and how to turn these good intentions into practices and concrete actions.
