CONNECT International was happy to host our project partners at our office in Brussels for a dedicated partners meeting.

Together with Descomunal, Libero, and OTB Europe, we further discussed the impact of the Virtual Feels Real project and aligned on how to ensure that educators and social services practitioners are better equipped to respond to online risks, digital violence, hate speech, discrimination, misinformation, and other challenges faced by vulnerable groups in digital spaces.

The meeting was closely connected to the core purpose of the project: making sure that online harms are treated as real-life issues, and that those working directly with communities have practical tools, knowledge, and confidence to act.

The partners also reflected on the dissemination and future use of the Virtual Feels Real Training Kit, which supports educators in recognising online harm, responding effectively, and building safer and more inclusive digital environments.
