This week the partners of the DIGI-MENTAL project gathered in Brussels, at Connect International’s headquarters, for the project’s mid-term review meeting. It’s a key milestone in this EU-funded initiative dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people through innovative approach supported by VR digital tools.
The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the progress made so far, align on the road ahead, and, most excitingly, test the developed project’s VR tool for the very first time. Seeing the technology in action was a genuinely thrilling moment for everyone involved, and a powerful reminder of the potential this tool holds for youth workers and young people alike.
Discussions covered the research and analysis completed to date, the development of the guided mental well-being VR sessions, the upcoming training and capacity-building phase, and the further project’s dissemination and advocacy activities.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project moves into its next phase!
