A representative of Connect International participated in the EuroDIG Extra meeting hosted by the EuroDIG Secretariat, focusing on preparations for the UN World Summit on the Information Society high-level review conference (WSIS+20).
The meeting featured insights from member of the Informal Multistakeholder Sounding Board, on the WSIS+20 process and its anticipated outcomes. Discussions centered on the first revised draft document that will shape global priorities for the information society through 2035.
The session also introduced EuroDIG’s Call for Issues, inviting stakeholders across Europe to contribute digital topics that should shape multistakeholder dialogue in 2026. Participants were encouraged to identify challenges, opportunities, and trends that deserve attention in the evolving digital landscape.
Connect International values engagement in multistakeholder processes that shape internet governance and digital policy frameworks. Participating in these discussions ensures youth perspectives and digital rights considerations remain central to European and global conversations about the future of the information society.
