Connect International was honoured to contribute to the Education Flagship Conference on Well-being and Digitalization, held on 24 September 2025 in Copenhagen, under the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

A representative of Connect International delivered a keynote speech during the “Youth Voices” segment of the conference. The speech addressed:

• The need to integrate digital literacy and mental health education across formal and non-formal education systems;
• The importance of designing safer, more inclusive digital spaces;
• The urgency of equipping youth workers with tools to navigate digital risks such as misinformation, cyberbullying, and screen addiction.
• Supporting youth perspectives in digital policymaking and ethical content creation.

In the afternoon, our representative joined a high-level panel discussion alongside speakers from the European Commission, Save the Children, Eurochild, Meta, and others. The session focused on how EU institutions and Member States can take concrete steps to improve the well-being of young people in an increasingly digital world.

Connect International used this platform to advocate for inclusive, rights-based, and youth-centered approaches to digital transformation in education and youth work.
