We are proud to share that Geltu!, the short film developed within our European project Before They Hate (B4H8), was officially screened during the Council of Europe’s No Hate Speech Week 2025, held in Strasbourg.

Organised by the Council of Europe’s Anti-Discrimination Department, this high-level event brings together policymakers, civil society organisations, youth representatives, and international stakeholders to promote coordinated action against hate speech in Europe. The screening of Geltu! contributed to the cultural programme of the week, offering a powerful artistic perspective on the lived realities of hate and discrimination.

Geltu! tells the story of Blær, a young transgender person who faces bullying and exclusion after coming out. Inspired by real experiences of anti-LGBTQ+ harassment, the film encourages empathy, awareness, and a collective stand against hate speech.
