The European consortium behind the newly launched EmpowerHER project announces a joint effort to bridge the gender gap in entrepreneurship across Europe. By combining digital storytelling, interactive training, and immersive tools like Virtual Reality, the project focuses on inspiring young women to launch their own eco-friendly and innovative businesses while building a strong network of certified youth mentors.

Objectives:

• Collecting and mapping good practices, success stories, and video-podcasts from successful female entrepreneurs across Europe.
• Developing a comprehensive Competence Framework based on European standards (EntreComp & DigiComp) to equip youth workers with the tools to mentor young women effectively.
• Designing an innovative VR Entrepreneurship Escape Room Game where young women can practice real-world business scenarios, solve challenges, and build business models in a safe, interactive environment.

To ensure long-term impact, the project will bring together youth workers and trainers for international “Train the Trainer” mobility sessions in Cyprus, followed by local capacity-building workshops and summer bootcamps across partner countries. High-performing participants will be able to validate their newly acquired competencies using European micro-credentials.
