On Sunday, February 15, 2026, MoveIt had the honor of attending the Official Opening Ceremony of the Municipality of Thermi as the “National Youth Capital of Greece 2026.”

Our presence there was particularly meaningful, as we maintain an active collaboration with the local bodies and joined them to celebrate this important distinction together.

For several years, the Municipality of Thermi has been implementing a targeted strategy focused on strengthening youth participation in local affairs and in shaping policies that concern them. With the core objective of meaningfully empowering young people and encouraging their active involvement in local decision-making processes, the Municipality proceeded with the establishment of the Youth Council.

The event was attended by party leaders, representatives of the local government, members of the Municipal Youth Council, as well as representatives of local organizations.

MoveIt was present to honor this significant milestone and to actively support the initiatives that will follow, as it will be actively involved in the actions to be implemented within the framework of the National Youth Capital of Greece 2026.
