Description for general use

The AI4 YOUTH project is implemented under Erasmus+Programme, KA220-YOU – Cooperation partnerships in youth and focuses on assessing the current capacities of youth workers in relation to the use of Artificial Intelligence and algorithms in education and employment. This was achieved through the development of a curriculum that prepares youth workers to understand and incorporate AI tools in their work, helping young people adapt to the AI-driven future in both education and employment. The project’s activities included analyzing the knowledge and capacities of the youth sector regarding AI and algorithms, creating a capacity-building curriculum tailored for youth workers to support young people in preparing for the AI era, and providing accessible e-learning opportunities for trainers across Europe. Additionally, the project fostered discussions with stakeholders about the benefits, challenges, and opportunities AI brings to youth work, and created policy recommendations that ensure AI is used effectively in this context. Through these activities, AI4 YOUTH succeeded in its goal to empower youth workers for potential negative effects of AI on young people, while equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to guide youth in adapting to the AI landscape.
