Description for general use
Artistic minds project is implemented under Creative Europe Programme, European Cooperation Projects (Medium scale) and it explored the transformative power of the Culture and Creativity Sectors (CCS) for disadvantaged young artists, with a particular focus on those facing intellectual and mental health challenges. By promoting sustainable digitalization and fostering social inclusion, it aimed to empower these artists, enhance their participation in the sector, and contribute to the growth and innovation of the European creative industries. To ensure broader accessibility, the project utilized innovative digital gamification methods to make cultural sites and artistic creation more inclusive. One key tool was the Cultural Trails Mobile App, which offered virtual tours of Europe’s most iconic cultural and art landmarks—specifically designed to be accessible to young artists with disabilities. In parallel, the project developed Cultural Living Hubs—welcoming, creative spaces that provided disadvantaged young artists with opportunities to engage, connect, co-create, and grow within a supportive cultural environment. These hubs became catalysts for empowerment and social interaction, fostering cross-sectoral collaboration and inclusion. Additionally, through street art-based initiatives, the project actively engaged diverse communities in dialogue on social inclusion. This helped challenge prevailing misconceptions and encouraged empathy, understanding, and social change through creativity.
