Description for general use

The EU4YOUTH2ACT project is an initiative designed to engage, connect, and empower young people with fewer opportunities across Europe, enabling them to become active agents of solidarity and change. The project is implemented under Erasmus+ Programme, KA220-YOU – Cooperation partnerships in youth. Inspired by EU values and identity, the project focused on creating Social Innovation Laboratories that offered innovative, participatory, and inclusive non-formal learning opportunities. These labs provided both online and offline tools aimed at promoting personal and civic engagement, fostering activation among young people in a post-Covid era and in preparation for the EU Parliamentary Elections. Through these laboratories, young people were encouraged to take on the role of social change agents, contributing to sustainable development within their communities while also making an impact at the national and EU levels as active citizens. The project specifically targeted disadvantaged youth, providing them with the support needed to become social innovators in their local communities. The project involved a wide range of activities, initiatives, and innovative tools to achieve its aims. The concrete results were based on the design, development, and pilot-testing of an inclusive and comprehensive TOOL KIT (online and offline), accompanied by a multi-purpose MOBILE APP.
The TOOL KIT included:
-Guidelines on how to set up EU4YOUTH2ACT Social Innovation Laboratories
-An interactive, innovative, inclusive, and engaging EU4YOUTH2ACT Empowerment and Civic Orientation Programme for young people, offering high-quality, blended, and transnational learning opportunities (e.g., e-story map, digital storytelling, human libraries, café of social cycles, autobiographical narration, mentoring, role models, escape room reflection…)
-A validated Capacity Building Training for youth workers, recognized through micro-credentials
-A dedicated Mobile App that supported the Empowerment and Civic Activation Programme and provided functionalities for young people, youth workers, and stakeholders to:
Join an e-community of users as young people, youth workers, or mentors
Share stories via the e-Story Map, anonymously or personally
Participate in the e-Portal for Debates
Act as e-Ambassadors, offering voluntary peer support
Create or listen to e-Web Radio, TEDx talks, or podcasts designed by young people, youth workers, educators, and policymakers
