(Re)Turning Digital – Ethical Approach to Adult Education in the New Digital Environment is implemented under Erasmus+ Programme, KA220-ADU – Cooperation partnerships in adult education and it aimed to enhance adult educators’ capabilities in ethically using advanced internet-based technologies for education. The project equipped educators with the necessary skills to integrate these technologies into their teaching practice, ultimately improving adult learners’ employability and competitiveness in the digital age. A research framework was developed to define objectives, methodologies, and criteria for selecting educational tools. Following this, a needs assessment was conducted with 20 stakeholders across all participating countries, resulting in a detailed research report. Based on the findings, the project created a comprehensive resource package outlining selected tools, their features, use cases, and potential benefits. A manual was developed for adult educators, offering practical guidance on selecting and integrating internet-based technologies, troubleshooting, and ongoing professional development. This manual was made available on the upgraded Turning Digital platform. To ensure ethical practices in educational settings, the project also produced ethical guidelines for the use of current and future digital tools. A new curriculum for training adult educators was designed and complemented by a detailed, branded manual ready for implementation. The project enhanced the digital capacities of 36 adult educators from Serbia, Slovenia, and North Macedonia through a series of national training sessions focused on technological skills and ethical awareness. Finally, the Turning Digital web page was upgraded to include a new section featuring all project learning resources. The platform’s design and structure were also improved to make it more engaging and user-friendly, ensuring long-term access and sustainability of the project results.
